A month (or more) in review

Still playing catch-up around here. It has been a busy, but exciting month. Lots good things on the horizon. One huge development is that we just hired our new associate worship director, and he will be joining our team next week! With Christmas, New Year's celebrations, and kicking of Spring ministries, I've been pretty busy, but we're getting back to some sort of normal. That said, I still may be a little spotty with my consistency until this Summer, as I'm seeking to finish my M.Div this semester, and taking two 3-hour courses to do so. Should be an adventure!

Here's some recap of what we've sung together over the past month or so, with less detail than normal:

December 20 & 21 - "Jesus is the Gift With Us"

"Angels We Have Heard On High" (Chris Tomlin arrangement)
"Hail The King" (Citizens & Saints)
"O Come, O Come Emmanuel" (my arrangement)
"Here I Am To Worship (no bridge)" (Chris Tomlin)
"O Come Let Us Adore Him" (Hillsong)

December 27 & 28 - "Transforming Prayers for our Church & City"

"You Brought Me Back to Life" (CItizens & Saints)
"This Is Amazing Grace" (Phil Wickham arrangement)
"Your Great Name" (Michael Neale arrangement)
"You Alone Can Rescue" (Matt Redman)
"Lord of All" (Kristian Stanfill)

January 3 & 4 - "Transforming Prayers for Personal Transformation"

"All My Tears" (Julie & Buddy Miller)
"Rejoice" (Dustin Kensrue, Stuart Townend)
"Lord I Need You" (Chris Tomlin, Passion)
"Son of God" (Starfield)
"Jesus" (Citizens & Saints)

January 17 & 18 - Mark - Follow

"Hosanna (Praise is Rising)" (Paul Baloche)
"The Mighty Hand of God" (Citizens & Saints)
"Nothing But the Blood (Your Blood)" (Matt Redman)
"Stronger" (Hillsong)
"This Is Amazing Grace" (Phil Wickham arrangement)

January 24 & 25 - Mark - Follow - "A Follower and Storms"

"The Mighty Hand of God" (Citizens & Saints)
"Our God" (Chris Tomlin)
"It Is Well" (Todd Fields)
"Glory to God Forever" (Steve Fee)
"Rejoice" (Dustin Kensrue, Stuart Townend)

It has been a great few weeks in our church. This past weekend was an incredible weekend of worship together, as we looked to trust in Jesus even in the midst of storms, because even the wind and the waves obey Him!

I hope you have been blessed in knowing the presence of our Savior and the rest we have in Him because of His finished work on the cross.

in the Son,

Bill
